The Sketch Model Challenge:
Create a man-powered vehicle with one rider who is a participant in a dodgeball tournament against another team with the same handicap.
In additon: The heaviest vehicle gets a penalty that the driver is blindfolded. Any material used besides cardboard and foam gets a 25x weight penalty.
Our final design on the field of play. Carl Ferrario is the driver, Emanouel Milanov the rider and dodge-ball participant.
Even after slogging through 6 rounds of dodge-ball in muddy grass, the wheelchair was none the worse for wear.
A surprisingly comfortable seat!

The Result:
A wheelchair that lead our team to Victory!
Because Prof. Spenko liked our design the most (thank you Gary Coleman), we were given an advantage of starting with a ball in hand.
